Vivian F. Andregg, 95, of Waukon, IA, died Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society in Waukon. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 13th, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, with Pastor Kim Gates officiating, and burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery, both in Waukon. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until time of services at the church on Thursday. Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon is handling arrangements.
Vivian Florine Andregg was born February 7, 1931, in Forest City, IA, the daughter of Leland and Florine (Medin) Leach. She graduated from Orchard High School and then graduated from La James Beauty School in 1960, in Mason City, IA. On October 9, 1949, she married Kenny Hoisington and their marriage was dissolved in 1957. In August of 1960, she and her children moved to Waukon, IA, and Vivian bought a beauty shop. On January 19, 1963, she married Otto Andregg; the marriage dissolved in 1983. Vivian owned and operated her beauty salon well into her 80s, and worked at Kwik Trip and Hubba Hubba as well over the years.
Vivian was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Waukon, where she was very active in the ladies’ circles. She was also a member of the Eastern Star for many years, holding several offices and was the worthy matron for seven years. Vivian enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. She also enjoyed reading, playing cards, playing games, and watching old movies.
Survivors include her children: Margie Parcher of Denver, CO, Kevin Hoisington of Waukon, and Sheri (Rich Wiedner) Honn of New Albin, IA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Marcele Allen; a brother Roger Leach; daughter Cindy Sweetman; two step-sons: Mark and Michael Andregg; son-in-law Dave Honn; two daughters-in-law: Cindy Hoisington and Joann Hoisington; and grandson Blake Parcher.
Her family wishes to extend a special thank you to The Good Sam staff and residents and to St. Croix Hospice.
Honorary casketbearers are Vivian's great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Casketbearers are Chris Hoisington, Amy Hessel, Sara Hoisington, Abbi McDowell, Cody Mathis, and Brett Parcher.
