Terry L. Shogren, 57, of Waukon, IA, died Friday, May 13, 2022, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 17th, at 11:00 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lansing, IA, with Pastor Laura Gentry officiating. Friends can greet the family starting at 10:30 AM at the cemetery. Family requests no flowers be sent. Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon is handling arrangements.

Terry Lee Shogren was born July 10, 1964, in Waukon, IA, the son of Gene and Joyce (Van Brocklin) Shogren. After graduating from Waukon High School in 1982, Terry went to work for Quandahl's Food Ranch, which later became Quillin's. He managed Quillin's in Decorah, IA, before becoming a manager at Fareway in Waukon. He loved being outdoors-hunting, fishing, and camping. He also enjoyed taking trips out West. Terry liked guns and going out on his motorcycle.

He is survived by his beloved dog Kevin; his brother Dave (Carol) Shogren of Pardeeville, WI; and his niece and nephew Katie and Lucas Shogren. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents: Dwight and Bessie Van Brocklin and Alden and Agnes Shogren.

Kevin will serve as the honorary pawbearer. Casketbearers are Andy, Dan, Derrick, and Lucas Shogren, Mike Blocker, Greg Gordon, and Larry Schellhammer.
