Rosella Irene Sando

Rosella I. Sando, 85, of Waukon, IA, died Saturday, April 4, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon. Rosella donated her body to the University of Iowa. Graveside services will be held at a later date at Oakland Cemetery in Waukon. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon is assisting the family with arrangements.
Rosella Irene Sando was born on October 18, 1923 in Waukon, IA, the daughter of Lewis and Ida (Benson) Sando. She graduated from Waukon High School and attended the University of Northern Iowa where she received her Bachelor Degree. Rosella taught business classes in Colesburg, Blairstown and for twenty seven years in Cresco. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she was active in its ladies groups. Rosella was also a member of the Waukon Civic Club.
Survivors include many cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents.
