Rose Elizabeth Lensing

Rose E. Lensing, 85, of Waukon, IA, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 28th, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon with Fr. John Moser officiating. Friends may call one hour before services on Monday at the church. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waukon. In consideration of concerns regarding Covid-19, social distancing and wearing of mask is required. Cards may be sent to Denis Lensing at PO Box 235 Postville, IA 52162. Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.

Rose Elizabeth Lensing was born July 16, 1935, in Festina, IA, the oldest daughter of Edward and Anna (Boeding) Lensing. She attended country school and received her GED. Rose worked hard on the farm and also worked several different jobs in the Waukon area. She became a resident of Northgate Care Center on March 28, 2011. Rose was member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include several cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Blanche Lensing.
