Roger Russell

Roger T. Russell, 73, of Waukon, IA, died Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Good Samaritan Center in Waukon. A private family graveside service will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Waukon. Roger Thomas Russell was born October 21, 1947, in Waukon, IA, the son of Milton and Ethel (Haerer) Russell. He graduated from Waukon High School. Roger mowed lawn for several years at Oakland Cemetery in Waukon. He enjoyed working on lawnmowers and cars, watching Star Trek, NASCAR, and football, and was an avid Minnesota Vikings Fan.

Survivors include his siblings: Gary Russell of Hiawatha, IA, Diane (Steve) McDonough of Mason City, IA, Julie Gericke of Waukon, Linda Miller of Nevada, IA, Bonnie (Kevin Dundee) Russell of Luana, IA, and Susan Easton and Vicky Easton, both of Waukon; two sisters-in-law: Renee Russell of Marquette, IA, and Sue Russell of La Crosse, WI; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Randy, Dean, and Richard Russell; his step-father Edward "Tuck" Easton; sister-in-law Barbara Russell; and a special aunt Stacia Peterson.
