Robert J. Lenz, 24, of Waukon, IA, died Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon is in charge of arrangements.
Robert Joseph Lenz was born January 1, 1988, to Paul Lenz and Karen White in Tucson, AZ. He moved to Northeast Iowa at an early age, and had lived in Allamakee County ever since. Robert graduated from Kee High School in Lansing, IA, and was currently working at Infastech in Decorah, IA. He and his significant other Amy were excitedly expecting the birth of their first child.
Robert is survived by Amy Hoag of Waukon; his parents: Paul (Heather) Lenz of New Albin, IA, and Karen White of Reedsburg, WI; two sisters: Aubrie and Ashton Lenz of New Albin; three brothers: Evan Lenz of New Albin, Jeremy Rehders of North Carolina, and Eric Rehders of Waukon; grandparents: Roger and Jo Lenz of Lansing, and Maryellen Politowitz of Waukon; along with many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Curtis and Virginia Lenz, and Paul and Aletha Moore; his grandfather Marlin White; uncle Marlin White, Jr.; and aunt Sharon Politowitz.
