Richard Alan Nolting

Richard A. Nolting, 66, of Waukon, IA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 18, 2008 at his home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Martin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Richard Alan Nolting was born March 29, 1942 in Waukon, IA, the son of Calvin A. and Marian (Nolte) Nolting. He graduated from Waukon High School in 1959. Richard retired as a field service engineer in the machine tool industry, after a career which took him all over the world. He was a member of Zalmona Presbyterian Church in rural Waukon.

Survivors include his wife, Linda of Waukon; a son, James A. Nolting of Harvard, IL; his mother, Marian Nolting of Waukon; 2 sisters, Janice (Zane) Younger of Eagan, MN and Mary Kay (Robert) Spizzo of Breezy Point, MN; and a brother, Eugene (Linda) Nolting of Cameron Park, CA. He is preceded in death by his father, Calvin; a son, David and a brother, Norman who died in infancy.
