Irene Aldrich Haack

Irene E. Aldrich Haack, 89, of Westminster, MD, formely of Waukon, IA, died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center in Hanover, PA. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 3rd at 11:00 am at Center Baptist Church in rural Lansing, IA, with Rev. Reuben Grueneich officiating. Burila will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour before services at the church. Services were also held in Westminster on Thursday, March 30th.

Irene Esther Johnson Aldrich Haack was born on March 8, 1917 in Center Township, rural Lansing farm of her parents Oscar and Hannah Victoria (Ahlquist) Johnson. On June 25, 1934 she married Delbert D. Aldrich. They moved to Maryland in 1941.Delbert died in 1962. She remarried William Haack who died in 1985 and lived in Westminster, MD. She was a resident at Hanover Hall Nursing and Rehab Center in Hanover, PA.

Survivors include a son, Duane (Bobbie) Aldrich of Hanover, PA; 2 daughters, Darla (James "Jack") Bowman of Westminster, MD and Diane (Steve) Husbands of Kennedale, TX; a daughter-in-law, Lynn Aldrich of Westminster, MD; grandchildren, Katrina (Dave) Workman, Duane (Diane) Aldrich, Jr., Jason Aldrich, Daniel Aldrich, Michael (Sarah) Bowman, Ashley Bowman, David (Jill) Husbands and Kendra (Ryun) Guthrie; great-grandchildren,Heidi (Daniel) Riddle, Robert, Duane III, Joseph, Joshua, Zachary, Joshua and Chistopher; great-great grandchildren; Marcail and Jeremiah; a sister, Helen Bruns of Waukon; 2 brothers-in-law, Harold (Amy) Aldrich and Sidney Aldrich; 2 sisters-in-law, Christine Johnson and Joan Johnson, and several other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, 2 daughters Beverly Ann White and Darlene Aldrich; 2 sons, Robert G. and Eugene R. Aldrich, 2 brothers, Reuben and John Johnson and a sister, Evelyn Anderson.
