Heather K. Peck, 29, of Waukon, IA, died Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 8th, at 11:00 AM at Zion United Church of Christ in Waukon with Rev. Cathy Jurgens officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Waukon Friends may greet the family from 9:30 AM until the time of services on Friday at church. Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon is handling arrangements.
Heather Kay Peck was born September 8, 1994, in Waukon, IA, the daughter of Kelly Lee and Corene Kay (Bechtel) Peck. On October 16, 1994, Heather was baptized at Zion United Church of Christ, where she was a lifelong member. After attending Waukon schools, Heather participated in activities at TASC.
She enjoyed movies and music and loved shopping. During the summer, Heather liked sitting outside in the sunshine. If she wasn't having fun with her five nieces and nephews, Heather loved spending time with her grandma Betty as well as with her mom. Corene would sometimes take Heather to work with her, where she enjoyed visiting with the staff and residents.
Heather is survived by her mom Corene Peck of Waukon; three brothers: Michael (Andrea) Peck of Collins, IA, Ryan (Trish) Peck of Waukon, and Shawn Peck of Waukon; five nieces and nephews: Eowyn, Saphira, Calvin, Artemis, and Garrett Peck; grandma Betty Bechtel of Waukon; an aunt Kitty Collins of Waukon; and an uncle Bob (Cindy) Bechtel of Decorah, IA.
She was preceded in death by her dad Kelly Peck; infant sister Nicole; grandparents: Calvin Bechtel, Howard Hawley, and Laverna and Eldo Peck; and an uncle Russ Collins.
Honorary urnbearers are Bob & Cindy Bechtel, Lorrie Beisker Cox, Kitty Collins, Patty Monroe, and Thea Rentschler. Heather's brothers, Mike, Ryan, and Shawn, will serve as urnbearers.
