Gregory S. Nesheim, age 60, of Cedar Rapids, IA, formerly of Waukon, IA, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, IA following a brief illness. Family graveside services will be held at a later date in Oakland Cemetery, Waukon. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon is assiting the family with arrangements.
Gregory Scott Nesheim was born on March 13, 1946 at Wright Patterson Field in Dayton, OH, the son of Alvin and Dorothy (Gulbranson) Nesheim. Greg graduated from Waukon High School in 1964. He moved to Cedar Rapids where he worked as an orderly for several area hospitals.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy of Waukon; an aunt, Mary Ellen; 2 nieces and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his father and a brother, Dennis who died August 21, 2005.
