Elizabeth Ellickson

September 11, 1947 — December 25, 2020

Elizabeth Ann Ellickson walked into eternity on December 25, 2020, as her children sat by her side. There will be a family gathering at a later date. Any cards may be sent to Lee Ellickson Jr. at 1103 Park Road, Waukon, IA 52172. Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon, IA, is assisting the family.

Elizabeth Ann Ellickson was born September 11, 1947, to Robert and Marjorie Schultz of Postville, IA. She graduated from Postville High in 1965. Her next major milestone was marrying Lee Ellickson Sr. in 1966; the union would produce two children: Lee Jr. and Lynn. They divorced and she moved up to La Crosse, WI. There she held a variety of jobs including at Blue Ribbon Dry Cleaners and Elite Cheerleading Company. She moved to Prairie Du Chien, WI, for a brief period, but her heart was in La Crosse and once again moved back.

She loved volunteering at Gundersen Hospital and helping others out at the high rise she lived in. She loved to watch "I love Lucy", "The Golden Girls", and "Are You Being Served?". Nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her grandchildren. As health problems arose, she moved down to Waukon, IA, to a quieter life as her son took care of her.

She is survived by her mother Marjorie Schultz; her brother Alan Schultz; her son Lee (Christine) Ellickson Jr.; her daughter Lynn (John) Schulze; and her grandchildren: Cole (Ashley) Horgen, Dalton and Landon Ellickson, and Nathan (Danica) Jr., Tuesday-Marie, and Abraham Oldenburg.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father Robert Schultz.

Psalms 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints."
