Edna Snow Cook, 88, of Waukon, IA, died Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. There will be no services held locally.
Edna Snow Cook was born on March 9, 1921 in Pembroke VA, the daughter of John and Julia (Austin) Tickle. She was married to John E. Cook. Edna lived most of her life in Mullens WV and had been of the Baptist faith her whole life. She worked as a Cashier in a Pharmacy, and in her spare time enjoyed oil painting. In 2005 she moved to Waukon to be with her daughter Janeth Fish.
Survivors include 4 children, Robert (Rebecca) Cook of Buchannan, WV, Janeth Fish of Waukon, IA, Terrill Marshall of Blex Hill, MD and Danny (Vicky) Cook of Del City, OK; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
