Dylan Ross

Dylan J. Ross, 27, of Waukon, IA, died Saturday, September 27, 2025, at his home. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 3rd, at 1:00 PM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon with Fr. Joseph Sevcik officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Lycurgus Cemetery, rural Waukon. Friends may greet the family from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Thursday at Martin - Grau Funeral Home in Waukon, where there will be a 3:30 PM scripture service.

Dylan Joseph Ross was born on October 21, 1997, in Princeton, MN. He grew up in Milaca, MN, before moving to Iowa with his family in 2005. He attended St. Patrick Elementary School in Waukon and graduated from Waukon High School in 2016. Growing up, he loved competitive running and was very good at it.

Dylan was known for his kindness, loyalty, and sharp sense of humor. He had a special gift for making people laugh and lifting spirits, no matter the circumstance. His heart was as big as his smile, and he made everyone around him feel valued and loved.

Dylan was a talented carpenter and he also worked alongside his dad in the wildlife control business. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers, camping, and going to concerts.

Above all, Dylan cared deeply for his family and friends. He showed his love through his laughter and loyalty.

Dylan is survived by his parents Tom Ross and Lori Ross; his brothers: Tyler and Cayden; and his sister Sydney.

He will be remembered always for his generous heart, his unforgettable laugh, and the joy he brought into the lives of everyone who knew him.

Honorary casketbearers are Deven Pearson, Garett miller, Bren Regan, and Dawson Bauers. Casketbearers are Lane Fogt, Gunner Grangaard, Gabe Kipp, Cayden Ross, Tyler Ross, and Tanner Williams.
