Craig Karl Freilinger

Craig K. Freilinger, 55, of Decorah, IA, died Sunday, October 16, 2016, at his home. Prayer services will be held Friday, October 28th, at 1:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, with Greg Hamm officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until the time of prayer services on Friday at the funeral home.

Craig Karl Freilinger was born July 18, 1961, in Iowa City, IA, the son of Cleo Jones. He received his GED and attended NICC in Calmar for carburation repair. Craig delivered the Prairie du Chien Shopping News, Des Moines Register, senior meals in the Decorah and Cresco area for many years. He also did some logging and drove truck. Craig was active with the Red Cross and Big Brothers Association. He enjoyed working on small engines and electronics. Craig loved animals and took in several stray dogs and cats.

Survivors include his daughter Sierrah Medina of Decorah, IA; three brothers: Quint Freilinger, Kale Freilinger of Cresco, IA, and Chris (Jolene) Bruce of Waukon; and a sister Kim (Ginny) Freilinger of Independence, IA. He is preceded in death by his mother Cleo Ludvik.
