Christa Parker

Christa L. Parker, 42, of Waukon, IA, died Thursday, February 9, 2017, at her home. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 13th, at 11:00 AM at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, with Pastor Steve Oden officiating. Burial will be at Postville Cemetery, Postville, IA. Friends may call one hour before services on Monday at the funeral home.

Christa Lynn Parker was born August 12, 1974, in Postville, IA, the daughter of Dean and Shirley (Sampson) Foels. She was baptized and confirmed at Postville Presbyterian Church in Postville. Christa graduated from Postville High School where she was active in FFA. She also attended Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA. Christa worked at a horse stable and screen print and embroidery shop in Cedar Rapids. Christa loved working with horses and fixing things.

Survivors include her brother Karsten (Beth) Foels of Luana, IA; two nephews: Jackson and Tristan Foels; an aunt Sharon (Byron) Zeisler of Fish Creek, WI; and a uncle Calvin (Betty) Foels of Monona, IA. She is preceded in death by her parents.
