Cheryl "Cheri" Ann Nagel

Cheryl "Cheri" A. Nagel, 63, of Marion, IA, formerly of Waukon, IA, died Friday, June 25, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 2nd, at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church with Karla Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery both in rural Postville. Friends may call one hour before the services on Friday at the church. Martin – Grau Funeral Home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.

Cheryl Ann "Cheri" Nagel was born October 23, 1957, in Denver, CO, the daughter of Virgil and Virginia "Ginny" (Carricato) Woodral. She attended schools in Colorado. On August 12, 1978, she married Jerry Nagel in Wyoming. They lived in Gillette, WY, Waukon, IA, and later moved to Cedar Rapids, IA. Cheri enjoyed knitting, playing darts, bowling, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife and mother.

Survivors include her husband Jerry of Marion, IA; her children: Heather Matheny of Anamosa, IA, Edward Nagel, Terry (Bridget) Nagel both of Marion, IA, and Joe (Connie) Nagel of Cedar Rapids, IA; five grandchildren: Brian Kapurch, Natalie Bullis, Tyler, Cory, and Annie Feyss; three great-grandchildren: Becka Miranda, Brian Jr., and Layla Kapurch; her siblings: Joe Woodral, Debbie Rech, and Kim Daniel. She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Geno Woodral.
