Chad White

Chad E. White, 46, of Waukon, IA, formerly of Milwaukee, WI, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016, in Prairie du Chien, WI. A visitation will be held Sunday, December 4th, from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, and a prayer service will follow at 5:00 PM with Rev. Lynn G. Groe officiating.

Chad Eugene White was born September 14, 1970, in Prairie du Chien, WI, the son of Craig Alan and Brenda (Kottman) White. He was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Monona, IA, and confirmed at Waterville Lutheran Church in Waterville, IA. Chad graduated from Waukon High School in 1988; he then chose to continue his education at Winona State University, but soon moved to Milwaukee, WI, and finished his education at Milwaukee Area Technical College receiving his LPN license in 2000. Chad worked for several years as an LPN in the Milwaukee area before moving back to Waukon. He continued to live out his passion for serving people at Lori Knapp in Prairie du Chien and the Hotel Winneshiek in Decorah, IA.

Survivors include his mother Brenda (Ray Richard) White of Waukon; two brothers: Shannon (Sheila) White of Belleville, KS, and Craig Joseph White of Bird City, KS; two sisters: Stacy Larsen and Cindy (Damian) Copp, both of Waukon; several nieces and nephews; two great-nephews; and his grandmother Betty White of Waukon. He is preceded in death by his father Craig Alan, who died in 1996; and his grandparents: Edmund White and Keith and Darlene Kishman.

Honorary casketbearers are Craig Joseph and Shannon White, Matt Desmond, Randy Grady, Dwight Jones, and Chad's nieces and nephews.
