Brian Haney

Brian F. Haney, 59, of Prairie du Chien, WI, died Friday, November 18, 2022, at his home. Private family services will be held at a later date. Cards and memorials may be sent to his sister Karen Henning at 1646 Valdres Road, Decorah, IA 52101. Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon, IA, is assisting the family.

Brian Floyd Haney was born June 21, 1963, in Decorah, IA, the son of Reginald "Skip" Fillmore and Ann Jeanette (Lunde) Haney. After graduating from Kee High School in Lansing, IA, Brian graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville, IA, with a degree in cabinet making. He worked for nursing homes and Walmart in Prairie du Chien, WI. He enjoyed watching football, hunting squirrels and deer, fishing, and canoeing. He will always be remembered as a kindhearted, thoughtful guy.

He is survived by his siblings: Regina (Kevin) Ashbacher of Lansing, Steve Haney of Holmen, WI, Dave Haney of La Crosse, WI, and Karen (Lynn) Henning of Decorah; and his nieces and nephews: Gary, Scott, and Brett Gibbs, Taylor and Tanner Haney, and Khloe Henning. Brian was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Pamela Haney.
