Blanche E. Lensing, 79, of Waukon, IA, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Northgate Care Center in Waukon. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 4th, at 11:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon with Fr. Mark Osterhaus officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Waukon. Friends may call one hour before services Monday at the church. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon is handling arrangements.
Blanche Elizabeth Lensing was born November 15, 1938, at the home farm in West Ridge, rural Waukon, IA, the daughter of Edward and Annie (Boeding) Lensing. She attended country schools and helped on the farm. Later, Blanche worked for Northern Engraving and was an egg picker for Duffy and Ludeking Feed in Waukon. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon.
She is survived by her sister Rose Lensing of Waukon and was preceded in death by her parents.
