Betty E. Wagner, 97, of Oconomowoc, WI, formerly of Lansing, IA, died Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Vitas Hospice in West Allis, WI. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 26th, at 10:00 AM at Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon, IA, with Pastor Matthew Majewski officiating. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Waukon. In consideration of concerns regarding Covid-19, social distancing and wearing of mask is required.

Betty Estella Wagner was born August 14, 1923, in Fayette, IA, the daughter of William and Estella (Fleming) Burns. She graduated from West High School in Waterloo, IA, and shortly after, married Paul Richard Wagner. They had two daughters: Carolyn Wagner-Randall and Cynthia Wagner-Stephens. As a young woman, Betty worked in a candy store, a cleaners, and a department store in Waterloo. She also lived in Dubuque, IA, Nashotah, WI, and most recently in Oconomowoc, WI.

She is survived by her daughters Carolyn Randall and Cynthia (Larry) Stephens; grandchildren: Amy (Dan) Nemmers (Zack, Josh, and Nathan are grandsons by marriage) and Timothy (Brenda) Wolf (great-grandsons: Bennett, Daniel, and Miles Wolf); Betty's first great-grandson Adam Wolf of Sacramento, CA; and nieces and nephews that live in Iowa, California, Texas, and Colorado.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; husband Paul in 1997; and all her siblings: Nellie, George, Melvin, Ann, Charles "Chuck", and Richard "Dick" Burns.
