Baldemar "Junior" Villarreal, 38, of Waukon, IA, died Monday, March 11, 2013, at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 16th, at 1:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, with Fr. Joseph Schneider officiating. Friends may call one hour before services Saturday at the funeral home.
Baldemar Villarreal was born September 28, 1974, in Houston, TX, the son of Baldemar and Hermelinda (Rodrigues) Villarreal. He graduated from Clewiston High School in Clewiston, FL. On January 11, 1997, he married Yenny Iboa in Clewiston, FL. They moved to Waukon in 2008; Junior worked for Agri Processing in Postville, Voltmer Construction Company in Decorah, and was currently working for AVEKA Nutra Processing in Waukon, where he was a team leader. He enjoyed following his children's sporting events, cooking, and watching Duck Dynasty on TV with his boys.
Survivors include his wife Yenny Villarreal; his children: Angela, Baldemar III, and Emiliano, all of Waukon; his parents Baldemar and Hermelinda Villarreal of Lehigh Acres, FL; 4 brothers: Javier (Rosy) Villarreal of Lehigh Acres, FL, Gerardo (Lucy) Villarreal of Fort Myers, FL, Felipe Villarreal, and Rogelio Villarreal both of Lehigh Acres, FL. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
