Judith Ann Miller

Judith A. Miller, 67, of Harpers Ferry, IA, formerly of Waterloo, IA, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at her home in Harpers Ferry. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21st at 10:30 am at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Prairie du Chien, WI, with Pastor Dan Naumann officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo, IA. Friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 pm Friday at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon.

Judith Ann Miller was born on December 16, 1944 in Oelwein, IA, the daughter of Elmer and Lora (Fox) Brickman. She was baptized and confirmed in Westgate, IA and graduated from Janesville High School in 1963. On August 22, 1964 she married Harold Miller at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Waverly, IA. They lived in Waterloo, IA, where she worked at Iowa Business Machine until 2001 when they moved to Harpers Ferry, IA. In 2002 she went to work at Prairie Sand and Gravel in Prairie du Chien retiring in 2010.

Judy was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. She enjoyed taking care of her pets, working in her garden, reading, and spending time on the Mississippi River where she enjoyed boating and fishing.

Survivors include her husband, Harold of Harpers Ferry, IA; her children, Korey (Cathy) Miller of Cedar Rapids, IA, Kim (Ted) Narveson of Minnetonka, MN and Kelli (Kurt) Flaherty of Valdosta, GA; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Gary (Jean) Brickman of Harpers Ferry, IA and Tom (Charlotte) Brickman of Janesville, IA. She is preceded in death by her parents.
